Veloce Racing’s Jamie Chadwick put on a dominant display in race two of the W Series double header season finale at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas on Sunday to successfully defend her championship crown from 2019 and in doing so has taken home a cheque for £500,000 and is now entitled to 15 Super Licence points.
Chadwick came home just ahead of Abbie Pulling and Emma Kimilainen while Sarah Moore was fourth. Bunker Racing’s Beitske Visser ended the race in fifth place just ahead of Alice Powell of Racing X whose champion challenge was made tough by Chadwick’s victory on Saturday in race one.
Belen Garcia was seventh just ahead of Nerea Marti and Ayla Argen while Caitlyn Wood rounded out the top ten for Puma Sport. Bruna Tomaselli was 11th just ahead of Miki Koyama and Sabre Cook. Vicky Piria rounded out the order ahead of Jess Hawkins and Fabienne Wohlwend who was forced to retire from the race.
