I have no words. “Honestly, I’m a bit emotional. We’ve had an unbelievable car this year and just haven’t been able to do anything about it. I’m just so happy we held on there.”

Speaking following the race Foster said:

“Massive congratulations to Jamie. “She’s done an amazing job. She was the woman to beat this weekend. Really, really fast. More than happy for the team. One-two, you can’t ask for anything more.

Chadwick went on to say:

“With the red flag at the end, I was like, ‘Come on. “We started to lose the tires a little bit. So, I just knew I had to be aggressive. I knew they (Foster and Abel) have a championship to worry about, and I just had to get my head down. I really wanted to win today.”

History was made in the race as Chadwick became the first female driver to win an INDY NXT presented by Firestone race on a permanent road course.
