Jamie Chadwick dominated the season opening inaugural W Series race in Hockenheim on Saturday, having taken pole position for the race and been fastest in both practice sessions on Friday, Chadwick made a lightening getaway however she lost the lead after running wide on lap one however she recovered to reclaim the win and came home just ahead of Alice Powell.
Marta Garcia was third just ahead of Beitske Visser and Sarah Moore. It was a disappointing race for Fabienne Wohlwend as she started the race from the front row and finished the race in sixth just ahead of Miki Koyoma who came through the field from 17th to finish the race seventh place just ahead of Tasmin Pepper.
Esmee Hawkey finished the race in ninth place while Gosia Rdest rounded out the top ten just ahead of Caitlin Wood. Jessica Hawkins was 12th just ahead of Sabre Cook.
Naomi Schiff finished the race in 14th place just ahead of Vicky Piria and Shea Holbrook. There were two retirements from the race with Emma Kimilainen and Megan Gilkes having collided with each other bringing out the safety car in the early stages of the race.
