Channel 4 confirmed on Monday the ten races that they will show live over the course of the 2016 Formula One season starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix in April.
Channel 4 were awarded the UK terrestrial licence to show Formula One after the BBC pulled out of their contract early in order to save money. Channel 4 announced recently that former F1 driver David Coulthard will front their coverage.
Channel 4 will show ten race’s live and uninterrupted while showing extended highlights of the remaining races. The ten Grand Prix the station will show live are:
April 1-3 – Bahrain
May 13 – 15 – Spain
June 17 – 19 – Europe
July 8 – 10 – Britain
July 22 – 24 – Hungary
August 26 – 28 – Belgium
September 2 – 4 – Italy
September 30 – 2 October – Malaysia
October 28 – 30 – Mexico
November 25 – 27 – Abu Dhabi
