Harding Racing’s  Gabby Chaves in the No.88 Chevrolet was happy that the team were able to make improvements from Sunday’s abandoned race to Monday’s conclusion of the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park,

The Colombian started the race from 20th place and finished the event in 17th place. Speaking following the race, Chaves commented by saying:

Today’s conditions were not ideal for us to start. Our strategy we used yesterday to hope for a yellow to get our lap back obviously never came. We just did more to learn, try to gauge our pace and try to keep improving. I thought we really improved on our pace compared to everyone else and we did well to pick up a few positions at the end of the day and brought the car home. Now we get to work on our most important month of the year.

Taking to Twitter following the race at Barber Motorsports Park, team owner Mike Harding tweeted saying:

Really proud of the #88 guys. Tough conditions for everyone this weekend and they continued to stay positive and work hard. Really excited for May! – at Barber Motorsports Park
