The Verizon IndyCar Series engine supply landscape could look a little different in 2018. Honda have affectiv lost just one car with the news that Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing will have a two car full-time programme in 2018.
Honda had lost two cars last week following the news that Chip Ganassi Racing will move to a two car programme from having four.
Chevrolet will supply Harding Racing in 2018 continuing their relationship from this season and if Juncos Racing move up full-time to the Verizon IndyCar Series they will likely continue their relationship with Chevrolet.
It remains unclear what engines Carlin Racing will use next year if they do as expected move up to the Verizon IndyCar Series next year.
As it stands Honda supply Chip Ganassi Racing, Andretti Autosport, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and Dale Coyne Racing while Chevrolet supply Team Penske, Ed Carpenter Racing and Harding Racing.
It will be interesting to see what happens in 2018 particularly with the new universal aero kit.
