Chip Ganassi Racing, one of the most successful teams in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES has entered into a technical alliance with fellow INDYCAR SERIES team Meyer Shank Racing beginning in 2025 on a multi-year partnership.
The new agreement between the two teams will see Chip Ganassi Racing share their engineering team with MSR while the Mike Shank led team will have access to the set ups of six-time series champion Scott Dixon as well as two time series champion Alex Palou in driver briefings.
While acknowledging that the partnership is in place from 2025, a Meyer Shank Racing spokesperson would not go into the specifics of the new partnership.
The announcement brings to an end Meyer Shank Racing’s existing alliance with Andretti Global through their Andretti Technologies department.
While the NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams go through the proposed charter system which could come in as early as 2025 the new partnership between Ganassi and Shank will be similar to the one that Team Pemske has with AJ Foyt Racing.
