Chip Ganassi Racing revealed the No.9 PNC Bank Honda livery that six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon will race with in 2025, his 25th season in the series.
Speaking about the new look, Dixon said:
I’m excited. It was a long off-season. We definitely have some big areas and some low-hanging fruit where I think we can make some big shifts and some big changes for a positive effect for the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda. I’m looking forward to that.”
The Iceman heads into the new season aiming to challenge for a claim his seventh series title as he chases AJ Foyt’s record win tally of 67 victories, Dixon is second on the all-time list with 58.
Dixon’s long-time strategist and Chip Ganassi Racing Managing Director Mike Hull says:
“Being shoulder-to-shoulder in an INDYCAR partnership with PNC has been extraordinary because the things that make them a great bank are also what makes Scott and the team so consistent. They all do the little things brilliantly which is why the partnership with PNC is so perfect. We are happy to return with the orange and blue once again of PNC Bank on the No. 9.”
The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season gets underway in less than a month with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg presented by RP Funding a race that the Iceman has yet to win so he and the PNC Bank crew will be hoping that they start their season off with a visit to victory lane.
