Chip Ganassi Racing head to the ‘drivers restart your engines’ event at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend following a strong race for Scott Dixon in Pocono on Monday.
The reigning Verizon IndyCar Series champion started the ABC Supply 500 from 19th place on the grid and came through the field to finish the race in sixth place. In 2015, Dixon won the race with team mate Tony Kanaan joining him on the podium to give Chip Ganassi Racing a 1-2. Dixon and his team will be hoping for a repeat performance on Saturday.
Dixon restarts Saturday’s race from 14th place. Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT DATA Chevrolet heads to Texas following a ninth place finish in Pocono on Monday afternoon and will restart the race from 16th place.
Charlie Kimball in the No.83 Tresiba® Chevrolet will restart the Firestone 600 from eighth place. Kimball heads to Texas following a 15th place finish in Pocono.
Max Chilton in the No.8 Gallagher Chevrolet restarts the Firestone 600 from 19th place and heads into the race following a 13th place finish in Pocono on Monday afternoon.
