Ed Carpenter Racing’s Rinus Veekay says Christmas came early for him as the Dutchman confirmed on Tuesday that he will make his Daytona 24 Hours debut next month with DragonSpeed.
Veekay who made is NTT IndyCar Series debut with ECR in 2020 scored his maiden NTT IndyCar Series P1 Award at the Harvest Grand Prix Race one on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, leading 15 laps and coming home in third place to claim his first IndyCar Series podium.
VeeKay who won Indianapolis 500 rookie of the year tweeted saying:
