Team Penske released a statement on Tuesday to confirm that following a comprehensive internal review, they have taken the decision to suspend four senior team members.
The team members who have been suspended are Team President Tim Cindric, Luke Mason, race engineer for Josef Newgarden, Managing Director Ron Ruzewski and Data Engineer Robbie Atkinson.

The individuals have been suspended fir the next two events, including crucially the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 26.
The news comes following the team’s disqualification from the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg which saw race winner Josef Newgarden and Scott McLaughlin disqualified from the race for illegal use of P2P.
