Dale Coyne Racing’s Zachary Claman DeMelo in the No.19 Paysafe Honda is looking forward to his home race this weekend as the Verizon IndyCar Series heads to Canadian for the Honda Indy Toronto, round 12 of the 2018 season.
The race at Exhibition Place is scheduled to be DeMelo’s last race of the season with Pietro Fittipaldi due to return at the next race in Mid-Ohio after recovering from the injuries he sustained in his crash at Spa Francorchamps earlier this season which ruled him out of the Indianapolis 500.
Speaking ahead of his home race, Claman DeMelo commented by saying:
I’m extremely excited to go to Toronto,” expressed Claman De Melo. “I have a lot of friends and family there that will be watching, so it’s a really special race for me. I love the track and I think it should be a fun race. I finished on the podium twice in Toronto last year in Indy Lights so hopefully I can be strong there again and get a really good result for the team and Paysafe in front of my friends and family.”
