Formula One championship leader Nico Rosberg set the fastest time in the final practice session ahead of qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix. The German set a fastest time of 01:32.092s completing 14 laps.
Daniel Ricciardo was second fastest for Red Bull Racing with his former team mate Sebastian Vettel third fastest for Ferrari setting a fastest time of 01:32.731s.
Max Verstappen was fourth fastest just ahead of Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari. Felipe Massa was sixth fastest for Williams Martini Racing setting a fastest time of 01:33.271s ending the session just ahead of reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The Renault Sport F1 Team did a great job in the final session with Jolyon Palmer ending the morning in eighth place just ahead of his team mate Kevin Magnussen.
Nico Hulkenberg rounded out the top ten for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team with Fernando Alonso in 11th place just ahead of Esteban Gutierrez who set a time of 01:33.787s, the Mexican ended the session just ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez.
Daniil Kvyat was 15th fastest for Toro Rosso just ahead of Romain Grosjean’s Haas. The Sauber F1 Team pairing of Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson were 17th and 18th respectively with Jenson Button in 19th place for McLaren Honda. Esteban Ocon was 20th just ahead of Pascal Werhlein while Carlos Sainz rounded out the order in 22nd place for Toro Rosso.
