Meyer Shank Racing announced on Carb Day today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that Cleveland-Cliffs has joined the team as official steel partner on a multi-year agreement.

Cleveland-Cliffs is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest supplier of steel to the automotive industry in North America, and is ranked 171 on the 2022 Fortune 500 List. Cleveland-Cliffs is vertically integrated with the unique advantage of being self-sufficient, beginning with the extraction of raw materials through the manufacturing of steel products, tubular components and stamping and tooling.

Team co-owner, Mike Shank commented saying:

“As our program has grown, the interest from companies that want to partner with us has been significant so we are thrilled to partner with another company that is also based in the Midwest.  “They are a really impressive group, and their ambition is to continue to grow. We are excited to be a part of their plan to expand the awareness of the Cleveland-Cliffs name and everything that the company is capable of.”
