NTT INDYCAR SERIES team owner Don Cusick says that his team, Cusick Motorsports aims to compete in all the oval races on the 2024 schedule.

Speaking to Paddock Eye on Tuesday, Cusick said that his team, who will compete with Stefan Wilson driving the No.24 CareKeepers Cusick Motorsports Chevrolet with DRR, are looking into the possibility of running all of the oval races next season. The team has had plenty of time to prepare for their third Indianapolis 500 race.

Wilson ended the Indianapolis 500 open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last month in sixth place overall having completed a total of 107 laps.

Cusick also confirmed that the team are more prepared this year compared to last year or the year before as they have 20 sponsors on the car and he is hopeful that the team can have a strong month of May carrying on the momentum that Stefan had during the open test.

Cusick also confirmed to us that while he doesn’t have a background in racing he enjoying listening in to what is going on through the headsets while on the timing stand.

Stefan Wilson and his teammate, Ryan Hunter Reay will be back on track for the opening day of practice on Tuesday, 16th May.
