Cusick Motorsports, the team owned by Don Cusick head into their third Indianapolis 500 better prepared then their previous two entries according to Cusick.

For 2023, the team has partnered with Dennis Reinbold’s Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Stefan Wilson having a teammate in former Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay who brings a wealth of experience to the team.

In the open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last month, Stefan Wilson ended the day well inside the top ten which was fantastic for the team who hadn’t been on track since last year’s Indy 500.

Speaking to Paddock Eye ahead of the month of May, Don Cusick said that having the extra time following the announcement of their partnership with DRR had really helped the team to prepare.

Cusick said that the team has at least 20 partners on the car and he hopes that they have given Stefan the machinery that can give him the opportunity to fight for a top ten finish if not higher.

On Monday, ahead of the opening day of practice today, the team tweeted:

Practice will be streamed live on Peacock in the U.S while NTT INDYCAR SERIES fans in the U.K and Ireland will be able to catch all of the action live on Sky Sports F1HD.
