Don Cusick, owner of Cusick Motorsports who partnered with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing for the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge says that they didn’t have the result they wanted today.

Graham Rahal who was competing in the No.24 CareKeepers Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports Chevrolet suffered a battery failure ahead of the start of the race but got back underway two laps down.

Don Cusick took to Facebook following the action to say:

Not the result we wanted but so proud of everything that this entire team did to get us here and into this race. A brand new battery fails us at the start, but our team battled back. Thank you for all the support and kind words!!
