Carlin Racing have confirmed that hot on the heels of his first race with the team last weekend at the Honda Indy Toronto that Sage Karam will once again be in the No.31 SmartStop Self Storage Chevrolet for this weekend’s Iowa Corn 300 at the Iowa Speedway.

Karam will be joined at the team by Conor Daly who returns to the team driving the No.23 Gallagher Chevrolet. The pair have impressed team owner Trevor Carlin and that is why they are driving this weekend.

Speaking about Sage Karam, team owner Trevor Carlin told IndyCar.com:

We were very impressed with Sage’s steady progression throughout the Toronto race weekend and his willingness to learn and adapt. “The fact that he hadn’t been on a street course since 2015 and was still able to come right out of the gate confident and constantly improving every session was extremely impressive.
