Ed Carpenter Racing’s Conor Daly who drives the No.20 BitNile Chevrolet full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series has confirmed that the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 28 is his sole focus for that month.
Daly announced on Tuesday that he will attempt to compete in the Daytona 500 with TMT Racing in the No.50 BitNile Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 along with at least six other Cup Series events.
In response to a fan on Facebook, when asked if he would be interested in completing the double, the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race on the same day, Daly said that he is firmly focused on the Indianapolis 500 with Ed Carpenter Racing.
