Dale Coyne Racing’s Conor Daly has confirmed that he competed in last weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto with an injured shoulder.

Daly, driving the No.18 Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality Honda crashed heavily in Sunday morning warm up and confirmed that he threw his shoulder out and it was only after the race that it was discovered that the American who finished the race in 15th place had nearly dislocated his shoulder in the accident.

Daly believed that the bumpy surface on the Toronto street circuit was a contributing factor to his crash on Sunday morning saying that the only smooth parts of the circuit were at Turn 2 and 3 where the circuit had been resurfaced.
