Conor Daly has been a huge help to the Harding Racing team during his time with the outfit. The Main Street, Speedway based outfit brought the Indiana native into the outfit to help them move forward as a team and they have certainly progressed in the last three races of the season.
The team who will expand to a two car full-time programme in the IndyCar Series in 2019 with Gabby Chaves and as yet to be decided other driver have come on in leaps and bounds when it comes to the progress that they have made over the last few races.
Daly has played a key role in the progression qualifying 11th for the Honda Indy Toronto and finishing the race in 13th place.
In the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio sports car course, Daly started the race from 14th place and finished the event in 22nd place. Last time out in the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway last weekend, Daly started the race from 22nd place and was classified in 15th place despite retiring from the race due to contact.
The team will be able to use the feedback that Daly gave them to help improve the car for this weekend’s race at Gateway Motorsports Park and for the rest of the season.
