Conor Daly’s third place finish in Saturday’s Hy-Vee 250 at the Milwaukee Mile is a huge boost not just for the Noblesville native but also for Juncos Hollinger Racing.
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES smallest team owned by Ricardo Juncos and Brad Hollinger has shown that they deserve their place in the series.
The result on Saturday also shows the incredibly hard work that Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Principal David O’Neill has done since arriving at the team in May alongside team manager Dave Morgan.
The result on Saturday has also all but secured the No.78 Chevrolet’s place inside the Leaders Circle which is a nod to Conor Daly’s remarks following the podium that the result was worth $1 million.
Speaking following the podium, Juncos Hollinger Racing founder and team co-owner Ricardo Juncos said:
To have our first ever podium for the team here at Milwaukee is amazing. To have it come with Conor Daly behind the wheel who has a history of racing with us makes it even more special. I’m really really pleased with the team and and all the effort from everybody. This couldn’t be possible without everyone; the engineers, mechanics our sponsors and the fans. We need to keep our focus because we have another race to execute tomorrow. This truly has been a team effort to get to this point and without Romain’s input as an addition to the team we wouldn’t be where we are. It was amazing to see how everyone was so happy for the 78 team. The 77 crew were just as happy, it really is a family here. We will keep pushing forward and look to close out the 2024 season on a strong note.
