Danica Patrick’s addition to Sky Sports F1HD’s coverage of the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas was brilliant.
Patrick, who raced in the NTT IndyCar Series from 2005 to 2011 and again in 2018 for the Indianapolis 500 along with a stint in NASCAR gave great insight to what the drivers were thinking over the course of the weekend.
Patrick was also able to give great insight from an outsiders prospective but was extremely knowledge about what has been going on in Formula One over the course of this season.
Patrick was also great in her line of questioning to both the drivers and team personnel she spoke too.
It was interesting to see her speak to McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo following the race and referred back to him going to the tattoo parlour with his boss Zak Brown.
Patrick was in her element all weekend and was able to give s unique insight from her own prospective having competed in both IndyCar and NASCAR.
