The ninth most memorable moment of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season goes to the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrand Motor Oil which took place on May 27.
Team Penske’s Will Power has always been very successful at the Grand Prix of Indianapolis and this year he did the double winning both the Grand Prix at the Indianapolis 500.
Power started the race from the front row in third place alongside pole sitter Ed Carpenter and dominated the race to claim his first Indy 500 victory and Paddock Eye were there.
Power went on to finish the season in third place in the 2019 championship behind champion Scott Dixon and Alexander Rossi. The Australian took three wins during the season, sweeping the month of May and also taking victory at the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway Motorsports Park.
