Team Hydroxycut KVSH Racing Chevrolet’s Sebastien Bourdais was left disappointed with his qualifying for Sunday’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio sports car course. The Frenchman will start the race from 16th place just ahead of Jack Hawksworth having set a qualifying time of 01:04.5967s.
Bourdais who is one of seven different race winners in 2016 is currently 14th in the Verizon IndyCar Series standings on 273 points with five races remaining the season.
Speaking following his qualifying session, Bourdais commented by saying:
Obviously not what the Hydroxycut – KVSH Racing Team wanted or expected in qualifying. I lacked overall grip especially in the rear. Once again, we have a good car on black (primary) tires, but can’t seemed to figure out the red (alternate) tires. We will just have to hit the reset button and see what we can come up with for the race tomorrow.
