Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon’s Indianapolis 500 curse continued on Sunday as he was handed a pit-lane speed limit violation meaning that following his final stop of the race he had to serve a drive through penalty sending him to the back of the field.

The result was incredibly disappointing for the Iceman who has dominated the month of May and started the race from pole position and is likely to finish the race in 26th place and moves him down to seventh in the championship.
