Verizon IndyCar Series championship leader Scott Dixon who drives the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing says he goes into the second half of the season with a positive mindset.

The Iceman has taken two victories so far in 2018 and he hopes that the team can have a stronger showing in Iowa this weekend compared to last year where he admitted they struggled.

Dixon has five podium finishes so far this season including two wins at the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway and in race one at the Detroit Grand Prix.

Dixon heads into this weekend’s Iowa Corn 300 with a 45 point advantage over second placed Ryan Hunter Reay in the championship.
