Five time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon who drives the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing says that it can only benefit the team this season with addition of a third car to their line up with the arrival of Marcus Ericsson.

Speaking to Paddock Eye during a media teleconference on Monday ahead of this weekend’s season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg the Iceman said that the team have been able to add personnel something that they haven’t been able to do in recent years.

Dixon joked that he is now part of Team Sweden as both Marcus Ericsson and Felix Rosenqvist are from Sweden.

Felix Rosenqvist and Marcus Ericsson go into their sophomore season in the NTT IndyCar Series while Dixon goes into his 20th in the series.
