Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the No.9 NTT DATA Honda heads to the Honda Indy Toronto this weekend following what he described as a rough race. The Iceman came from 17th place on the grid to finish the race in eighth place.
There are six races remaining in the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season starting with this weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto where last season, Dixon started the race from pole position.
Dixon heads to Canada, the Verizon IndyCar Series only trip outside the United States this season with an eight point lead over Team Penske’s Helio Castroneves who took victory in Iowa last weekend, his first win since race one of the 2014 Duel in Detroit. Dixon has scored one victory this season and one pole position but has been consistently on the podium in the Honda powered No.9 Ganassi.
