Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Scott Dixon says that he is looking for a two to three year contract for his next IndyCar deal.

The Iceman who is on target to win his fifth IndyCar championship is out of contract with his current team Chip Ganassi Racing at the end of the season and has been linked with a shock move to McLaren in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2019.

Dixon who celebrates his 300th Verizon IndyCar Series start this weekend says that he has a number of options for next season but is waiting for everything to come together before announcing where he will drive next season.

Paddock Eye understands that Dixon will indeed remain with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2019 with PNC Bank having increased their partnership with Ganassi stepping up as primary sponsor to the No.9 Honda from this season onwards.
