Scott Dixon, driver of the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda says the team will keep working at it following a tough Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix.

The Iceman started the race from 26th on the grid following a tough qualifying but made his way forward in the race.

The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season started out well for Dixon with a second place in St Petersburg but since than he has had a tenth in Thermal and an eighth place finish at Long Beach.

Dixon said following the race,

Big thank you to Jostens for biggest mover award. It was definitely a tough race for 12th. You know, obviously starting in 26th was pretty rough. We did all we could. But with the races going green to checkered it doesn’t give you too many options. Everyone racing around us was pretty decent. Congratulations to Alex on another win. A pretty good start to the season for him. We’ll keep working at it.

Dixon heads into the Sonsio Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the IMS road course where he has won before in seventh place in the standings 92 points behind Palou.
