Six-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon, driver of the No.9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing Honda may have by his incredible standards had a difficult 2021 season however, this does not mean for a second that he is slowing down.
The Iceman took one victory during the 2021 season in the Genesys 300 at Texas Motor Speedway and also scored 9 top-five finishes and 12 top ten’s during the season.
Despite turning 41 over the Summer, Dixon demonstrated that age is just a number as he ended the year ahead of both Colton Herta and his Ganassi teammate Marcus Ericsson both of thom scored more victories during the season compared to Scott who was still in the fight for the title up until the race at Laguna Seca.
It has been suggested that Dixon is slowing down, however his is the most successful active driver when it comes to wins, the Australian-born New Zealander had amassed 51 victories and is sure to add to this tally in 2022.
The 2022 NTT IndyCar Series will see the Iceman back to his best and once again just like this year and so many years previously we will see him at the front of the field fighting for the championship so NO, Scott Dixon has not slowed down! BRING ON 2022!
