Defending NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing had a great Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday coming home in second place behind winner Simon Pagenaud.
The Iceman’s performance was made all the better given the fact that since the race in Texas where he finished in 17th place he has been suffering from tennis elbow.
The five champion who with six races left this season is 86 points behind championship leader Josef Newgarden has been receiving regular treatment for the injury.
Speaking following the Honda Indy Toronto Dixon said that it may be an off season project for him to take care of.
The result also just goes to show the class and determination that Dixon has and just goes to show why he is a five time NTT IndyCar Series champion.
