The NTT IndyCar Series announced earlier today that they will introduce a new hybrid system in 2022 that will include an energy recovery system to generate power which is transferred from braking to the engine. The new hybrid technology will produce 900+ horsepower adding to spectacle that is the series.
Taking to Twitter following the announcement, drivers shared their thoughts with Graham Rahal from Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing saying:

Series points leader Josef Newgarden of Team Penske said:
