Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports have a great opportunity to show what they can at 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
Obviously it would have been better to have Stefan Wilson in the car on Sunday but with Graham Rahal on board alongside Ryan Hunter-Reay, the team has one of the most experienced line ups on the grid.
As Rahal said in his press conference on Tuesday, the drive is Stefan’s and he will do the best he can to bring home a great result for the team.
Between them, Rahal and Hunter-Reay have 31 Indianapolis 500 entries to their names which is incredible.
The experience of Ryan Hunter-Reay will prove invaluable to Graham Rahal on Carb Day given that he knows how the Chevrolet power unit performs.
Speaking to Paddock Eye during a Zoom call ahead of the Indianapolis 500 a couple of weeks ago, Don Cusick, owner and CEO of Cusick Motorsports said that ultimately he would like to have a full-time team in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and having Graham Rahal in the car this weekend and work and speed shown by Stefan Wilson this month will go along way to show that the team belong in series.
