James Roe in the No.29 Topcon Dallara for Andretti Global suffered early race contact which ended any hope of a strong result at the XPEL Grand Prix of Road America INDY NXT presented by Firestone.
The Naas native had to pit for a new front wing and went a lap down and finished the race in 18th place.
Speaking following the action he said:
We worked our way forward at the start, but got hit from behind and taken out in Turn 7. “Our race was done at that point. We went a lap down right away and just couldn’t recover. We have incredible speed everywhere we go – just need to catch a little luck here soon. Onto the next.”
