Verizon IndyCar Series rookie RC Enerson was the star of morning warm-up ahead of this afternoon’s IndyCar Grand Prix at the Glen presented by Hitachi.
Enerson, who drives the No.19 Boy Scouts of America Honda ended the session in second place as the fastest Honda with a time of 01:23.8511s finishing the session just ahead of Ed Carpenter Racing’s Josef Newgarden in the No.21 Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet.
Conor Daly in the No.18 Jonathan Byrd’s Restaurant and Hospitality Group Honda did a fantastic job in the second Dale Coyne Racing Honda as he set the fourth fastest time this morning.
Daly set a fastest time of 01:24.0603s ending the session just ahead of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal in the No.15 RLL Honda.
Enerson starts today’s race from just outside the top ten in 11th place after setting an extremely impressive time of 01:23.9907s. Daly starts the race from 17th place after setting a time of 01:24.2606s.
