Indy Lights driver RC Enerson will make his Verizon IndyCar Series debut at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio with Dale Coyne Racing next weekend.

The 19 year old Florida native was so impressive during Thursday’s Verizon IndyCar Series test at the Mid-Ohio sports car course that Dale Coyne has decided to run him next weekend with a view to other race outings this season at Watkins Glen and the season finale GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma.

Enerson went into the test in 14th place in the Indy Lights series standing where he races for Schmidt Peterson.

Emerson will drive the No.19 Dale Coyne Racing alongside full-time Verizon IndyCar Series driver Conor Daly who drives the No.18 Jonathan Byrd’s Hospitality Honda.
