The entire Oracle Red Bull Racing team are boycotting Sky Sports F1HD, Sky Germany, and Sky Sports Italia following comments made by pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz during his post-race notebook following the conclusion of last weekend’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

In the opening minutes of his notebook, Kravitz discusses what could be the plot of Brad Pitt’s new Apple TV F1 movie where, a seven-time world champion, gets robbed in the final race of the season, (implying that Lewis Hamilton was robbed of winning an eighth Formula One world championship last season).

These comments did not go down well with Max Verstappen or senior Oracle Red Bull Racing management with the PA news agency suggesting that the boycott of Sky Sports F1HD is an indefinite one.

Oracle Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner usually makes himself available on the pit-wall to Sky Sports F1HD on a race weekend however, in Mexico it is the Haas F1 Team’s Guenther Steiner who is in the hot-seat for the British broadcaster.

Max Verstappen starts today’s race from pole position while hometown hero Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez will start the race from fourth place.
