Circuit of the Americas boss Bobby Epstein says is looking forward to the inaugural IndyCar Classic this weekend and believes that the NTT IndyCar Series will provide fans with closer racing than Formula One does at the circuit.

There will be 24 cars in the field for Sunday’s 60 lap race and looking ahead to the weekend, Epstein said:

You’re going to have more cars here in this race, and I think they’re going to be much closer together. With F1, you have six cars that tend to crush the competition.
