The Swede has had a busy off season after moving from Arrow McLaren SP to Chip Ganassi Racing as team mate to five time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon and fellow Swede Felix Rosenqvist.
Ericsson will pilot the No.8 Huski Chocolate Honda this season and ended the NTT IndyCar Series Spring Training event at the Circuit of the Americas in 19th place with a time of 01:48.3065s having completed 65 laps on the final day.
