Chip Ganassi Racing’s Marcus Ericsson, the driver of the No.8 Huski Iced Spritz Honda, is set for a big move in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for 2024. Paddock Eye has learned that the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner is high on the list of Michael Andretti, and it is expected that the Swede will be announced as the new driver of the No.28 DHL Honda, replacing Romain Grosjean who is set to make a move to IMSA with the Lamborghini team.

The line-up at Chip Ganassi Racing for the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season looks set to be different, with only Scott Dixon contracted for next season in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda. It is our understanding that Marcus Armstrong who is currently completing a partial schedule will move up to a full-time ride in the No.11 Honda in 2024.

Dale Coyne Racing’s David Malukas has confirmed that he will not be with the team next season and it is believed that he could end up being in one of Chip Ganassi Racing’s cars, possibly the No.10 that could be vacated by Arrow McLaren-bound Alex Palou if the Spaniard ends up moving away from Ganassi. It is also though that Callum Ilott is a target for Chip Ganassi Racing.
