M-Sports Elfyn Evans won stage 13 of the rally Monte Carlo on day 2 of the opening round of the 2017 World Rally Championship season.

Evans’ team mate and reigning WRC champion Sebastien Ogier ended the day in second place just ahead of Citroen Racing’s Kris Meeke in the C3. Meeke has endured mechanical issues this weekend and was forced to retire from the rally after a collision.

Toyota’s Jari-Matti Latvala ended the day in fourth place just ahead of Ott Tanak in the M-Sports Ford Fiesta EccoBoost WRC.

Craig Breen was sixth in the Citroen DS3 just ahead of his team mate Stephane Lefebvre in the C3. Andreas Mikkelsen was eighth with Hyuandai’s Kevin Abbring in ninth place. Jan Kopecky rounded out the top ten.
