Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC Team’s Elfyn Evans says that the team’s expectations are pretty high going into this weekend’s FIA World Rally Championship event in Croatia, round three of the 2021 season.

Speaking to Paddock Eye during a Microsoft Teams meeting on Wednesday, the Welshman said that conditions on the recee were pretty tricky thanks to the wet weather that has been in Croatia earlier this week however that has given the added advantage of loosening up the asphalt meaning that the stages will be faster.

Evans goes into this weekend’s event in fourth place in the championship and as a result, will be fourth on the road for Thursday’s shakedown ahead of the opening day of the event on Friday.
