Warner Bros Entertainment has released the full-length trailer of the F1 Movie, which will be released in theaters worldwide on June 25th and will be released in North America on Friday, June 27.

The film stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes who was among Formula 1® ‘s most promising phenom of the 1990s until a major accident. 30 years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling F1 team on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to return to Formula 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He drives alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team’s hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny’s past catches up with him and he finds that in F1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

Jerry Bruckheimer produced the film with the help of seven-time Formula One champion and Scuderia Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton. Speaking about the film, Jeff Goldstein, President of Warner Bros. Pictures Global Distribution, stated,

“FORMULA 1 is the global titan in the sport of racing, and it’s clear that F1 is gearing up to be one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year. Together with our partners at IMAX®, we wanted to provide moviegoers the chance to see the film as soon as possible—to see Brad Pitt himself driving these incredible machines—and what better way than to kick off FORMULA 1’s 2025 season by offering audiences in 25 markets around the world this fantastic opportunity?”
