Thousands of race fans descended on Downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, Firestone Legends Day, ahead of Sunday’s 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb joined IMS President J Douglas Boles and the 33 drivers who will start the Greatest Spectacle In Racing.
There were other beautiful sights to behold at the AES 500 Festival Parade, such as the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. The Budweiser Clydesdale horses were also at the parade.
The 107th running of the Indianapolis 500, presented by Gainbridge, takes place on Sunday with Chip Ganassi Racing’s Alex Palou in the No.10 The American Legion Honda starts the race from the pole position.
