Sky Sport F1 commentator and former Formula One driver Martin Brundle claims that Ferrari are bluffing when it comes to their threat to quit Formula One.
Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne issued a warning to Formula One commercial rights holders Liberty Media on Friday warning that the Prancing Horse are prepared to pull out of Formula One at the end of 2020, the Italian manufacturer are unhappy with the proposals that were agreed on for the future engine development for Formula One from 2021 onwards.
Taking to Twitter on Friday evening, Brundle commented by saying:
Ferrari bluffing about leaving F1. Nowhere else with global reach. Aston Martin, McLaren, Lamborghini and Porsche would seize the initiative
It is not the first time in recent Formula One history that Ferrari have threatened to quit Formula One as a result of regulation changes.
