Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene has confirmed that his outfit are in no hurry to confirm their driver pairing for the 2017 season saying it is too early to make a decision.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Kimi Raikkonen’s future at the Italian outfit with the Finn out of contract at the end of the season a lot of names have been linked with his seat including Sahara Force India’s Sergio Perez who finished on the podium in Baku on Sunday.

Raikkonen played the team game on Sunday moving over for Vettel to allow the German to secure a second place finish while the Iceman came home in fourth place just ahead of reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Arrivabene confirmed that the Finn is doing his job and he is happy with the performance admitting that the Iceman was at times faster than Vettel during Sunday’s European Grand Prix.
