Scuderia Ferrari were left frustrated on Sunday following the German Grand Prix atvthe Hockenheim circuit.

The Italian team were dominating the race with both Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel performing extremely well during the rain affected race.

Raikkonen was extremely quick and was leading team mate Vettel when team strategist Jock Clear came on the radio saying that Vettel on fresher tyres with Raikkonen asking whatcthe team wanted him to do.

They eventually asked the Finn to move aside for Vettel.

The race ended in disaster for the four time champion as he retired from race after hitting the wall.

Speaking following the race, Raikkonen said the conditions were very tricky but he was clearly frustrated with the fact that due to a call from the team he missed the opportunity to win the race on Sunday.

Ferrari have not only lost the lead in the drivers championship but also more importantly for them as a team they have lost the lead in the Constuctors championship.
