Scuderia Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne has confirmed that the team are considering their options when it comes to their driver line up beyond next season.
Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen are both under contract with the Prancing Horse until the end of next season and Sergio Marchionne has stated that Vettel is not guaranteed a new contract beyond next season.
Valtteri Bottas is set to move to Mercedes, replacing world champion Nico Rosberg meaning that there will be few top name drivers available for 2018 as Nico Hulkenberg has joined the Renault Sport F1 Team on a multi-year contract.
One driver who could potentially be a free agent for 2018 is Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez so the Mexican could join the Prancing Horse.
Kimi Raikkonen returned to his best in 2016 securing numerous podium finishes and ended the year in 6th place in the championship. Sebastian Vettel ended the year in fourth place just behind Daniel Ricciardo.
